St. Stephen’s ice cream social
As COVID-19 restrictions were being lifted, St. Stephen Parish in Cadiz held an ice cream social on Sunday, June 6, 2021. The social was put on to help parishioners who had been isolated to reunite with each other. The social was catered by Heather’s Homemade Ice Cream of Hopkinsville and was hosted by the parish’s stewardship committee, parish council and Knights of Columbus at St. Stephen.
There were approximately 80 parishioners in attendance. Most in attendance socialized in the parking lot while some remained in their cars. The social was from 2-4 p.m. and all were thankful for the fellowship and, of course, the good ice cream.
Stephen Washer belongs to St. Stephen Parish in Cadiz and is a member of the stewardship committee.
