Ninoska Moratin joins diocesan Counseling Assistance Program providing reduced rate for mental health services

PRESS RELEASE

The Diocese of Owensboro is excited to announce that Ninoska Moratin has joined the CAP (Counseling Assistance Program) program through Catholic Charities and is accepting new clients.

Ninoska received her master’s degree in counseling from Western Kentucky University and is currently practicing as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at FamilyCare Counseling in Franklin, Ky. She has been trained in Level 1 Brainspotting and Level 1 Gottman Couples Therapy Method. She is passionate about assisting adults, couples, and families in their journey to healing and wellness.

Ninoska belongs to St. Mary Parish in Franklin, Ky.  Her hobbies are ever evolving but most recently include improv and anything gym related.

The CAP is a network of counselors in the diocese who are available to see clients at a reduced rate through a collaboration between the diocese, parishes and clients. Any parishioner in the Diocese of Owensboro can see any counselor on the CAP list at a reduced rate. However, even if a parishioner does not qualify for CAP due to insurance or health benefits through an employer that pays for mental health therapy or counseling, the CAP list is a good place to start your search for qualified counseling services within the diocese.

“We are always excited to announce new CAP counselors because we see such a need in our community,” said Susan Montalvo-Gesser, director of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Owensboro. “Ninoska comes highly recommended. We are thrilled to have her involved in our network of counselors and we know she will do a fantastic job for her clients.”
