Back to school blessings

During the Aug. 11, 2024 Mass at St. Edward Parish in Fulton, pastor Fr. Anthoni Ottagan blessed the parish’s catechists and religious education students as they begin their new school year. The students of St. Edward’s religious education program range from ages seven to 15 years old. According to Maria Woods, the parish’s religious education director, “We can speak English or Spanish but most of the time it’s a mixture,” which reflects the growing Latino demographic among the parish community.
